How Prudential Made Me Fall in Love with Corporate Headshots

I never thought I would become so good at corporate headshots. And honestly? I never thought I would enjoy corporate events that much either.

But Prudential completely changed my mind.

Last year, I photographed one of their events — and trust me, I’m not really an event photographer. I’m much more into fashion-inspired headshots, branding, and helping people build a stronger online presence. But I said yes to the opportunity, because at the end of the day, good images matter everywhere.

I did what I do best — create strong, professional images that help people look approachable, trustworthy, and confident online. My assistant Gosia and I also created short highlight videos from the event because I know one thing: people want content FAST.

And yes… I edited everything the same day.

Don’t ask me how I do it. After a full day of shooting, I somehow turn into a machine. I eat dinner, sit down, and edit what needs to be edited so my clients and their guests can enjoy the moment while the excitement is still there.

And that was it.

Prudential loved working with us.

Over the following year, I had the opportunity to photograph many more events for them, and each one made me realize that maybe… I actually really enjoy this corporate world.

Fast forward to this year — my team and I were invited back for a BIG Prudential event with over 150 attendees.

This time, while my team was creating highlight videos from the event, I was running my corporate headshot station — and wow… we photographed 72 headshots in one day.

It was a long 8-hour day filled with meetings, fast transitions, and a very long line for headshots.

And honestly? I loved it.

I truly believe a headshot station at a corporate event is one of the smartest ideas a company can offer employees. Let’s be honest — most people hate scheduling professional photoshoots or updating their LinkedIn photos. Life gets busy.

But when the company is paying and everything is right there during an event?

Suddenly everyone wants updated images.

And they should.

People change over the years. Their businesses evolve. Their confidence grows. Using old photos from 10 years ago is simply not the vibe anymore — especially when your online presence matters more than ever.

Professional corporate headshots are no longer “nice to have.” They are part of your personal brand.

And seeing over 70 people trust me with their image in one day? That was pretty amazing.

Thank you again to the Prudential team for trusting me and my team over the years. You truly made me fall in love with corporate events and corporate headshots.

If your company is planning a conference, networking event, or corporate gathering in Chicago — bringing a professional headshot station might be one of the best investments for your team.

Because people need new images. And trust me — they will actually use them.
